Life and Relationship Coaching near Palm Beach, FL

At the Center for Neurological Intelligence®, individuals, couples, and leaders are supported in understanding what is happening within them so they can live, love, and lead with greater clarity, connection, and choice.

Many people who find their way here are thoughtful, capable, and motivated. From the outside, life may appear successful or functional. Yet internally, something feels unsettled-emotional loops repeat, stress feels constant, relationships feel strained, or a quiet sense of disconnection persists.

  • This work is not about fixing what is broken. It is about understanding what was learned.

Using the framework of Neurological Intelligence®, this work helps make sense of how the nervous system formed meaning through lived experience-and how those patterns continue to shape thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships today.

  • When understanding replaces judgment, change becomes possible. Not through force or pressure, but through awareness.

A Different Kind of Support

Most of us were never taught how our nervous system works.

  • We learned how to perform. How to protect. How to survive.

But no one taught us how early experiences shape emotional meaning, relational patterns, or our sense of self. No one explained why we react the way we do, why certain situations feel overwhelming, or why familiar conflicts repeat even when we "know better."

Neurological Intelligence® offers a grounded, compassionate approach to understanding your inner world-without labels, urgency, or pressure to become someone else.

  • This work is not about self-improvement. It is about self-understanding.

As awareness grows, the nervous system begins to soften. Old protective strategies no longer need to run automatically. With practice, new responses become available-responses rooted in presence rather than reactivity.

Who This Work Supports

This work is for people from many walks of life who are seeking greater clarity, stability, and connection.

Life And Relationship Coaching Palm Beach, FL

Individuals

Individuals often seek this work when they are navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or unresolved emotional patterns. Some feel overwhelmed or emotionally reactive. Others feel shut down, disconnected, or stuck in internal conflict.

Many are highly functional on the outside while quietly struggling within.

This work supports individuals who want to understand their nervous system, reduce internal tension, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Men, in particular, often find this work helpful when they want to move beyond internal protection patterns and connect in more authentic, grounded, and emotionally present ways-without sacrificing strength or integrity.

Life Coaching Services Palm Beach, FL

Couples

Couples often arrive feeling caught in repeating cycles of conflict, misunderstanding, or emotional distance. Conversations escalate quickly or go nowhere. Trust and safety feel fragile. Both partners may care deeply, yet feel unsure how to stop hurting one another.

Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, this work helps couples understand what is happening within each nervous system during moments of stress. When this becomes visible, blame softens, defensiveness decreases, and curiosity returns.

Couples learn how to communicate with respect, understand individual and shared needs, and rebuild safety in ways that strengthen both the relationship and the individuals within it.

Relationship Coaching Sessions Palm Beach, FL

Executives and Leaders

Many leaders carry significant responsibility and invisible pressure. Decision-making never truly turns off. The nervous system remains engaged long after the workday ends.

This work supports executives and leaders who want to manage pressure more effectively, lead with clarity, and show up at home as partners or parents-not just as the boss.

Leadership here is not treated as a performance skill, but as an internal state shaped by the nervous system. When that system is supported, leadership becomes more sustainable, grounded, and fulfilling. You do not need to fit a category to belong here. If something inside you is seeking understanding, you are welcome.

How This Work Happens

My role is not to tell you who to be. It is to help you see what is already happening within you-with clarity, compassion, and practical guidance.

  • Together, we slow things down.
  • We listen to the body.
  • We observe patterns rather than fight them.

This work blends neuroscience, mindful awareness, and lived experience. Sessions are collaborative and paced with care, respecting the intelligence of your nervous system.

Change does not happen through willpower alone. It happens when awareness becomes embodied.

What Makes This Work Unique

At the Center for Neurological Intelligence®, the focus goes beyond traditional coaching by helping clients understand the neurological patterns shaping their inner and outer lives.

Founded by author and Neurological Life Coach Glenn S. Cohen, this approach integrates neuroscience, emotional awareness, and lived experience to support meaningful and lasting change.

Through individual sessions, couples work, leadership support, workshops, and the Neurological Intelligence® book series, people are guided in recognizing patterns that once served a purpose but may now limit growth or create unnecessary suffering.

This is not about erasing the past. It is about understanding it-so it no longer runs the present.

What Is Neurological Intelligence®?

Neurological Intelligence® is the ability to understand how your nervous system forms meaning and how that meaning shapes perception, emotion, behavior, and relationships-moment by moment.

Our nervous systems are shaped through experience. Over time, emotional learning becomes belief. Belief becomes protection. Protection becomes pattern. When these patterns remain unconscious, they tend to repeat. When they become visible, choice returns.

Neurological Intelligence® does not teach control. It teaches cooperation with your inner system. Through awareness, patterns can soften, integrate, and transform in ways that support greater clarity, balance, and freedom.

At its heart is a simple truth:

It is not what happens to you. It is what happens within you.

A Note from Glenn

I did not set out to create a methodology. I set out to understand myself.

Like many people, my early life shaped emotional and relational patterns long before I had language for them. I searched for answers through psychology, spirituality, leadership training, and personal growth. Each offered insight, but none fully explained how the nervous system stores meaning-or how early experiences quietly shape our lives.

Over time, Neurological Intelligence® emerged not as a theory, but as a map.

My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I meet people with respect, humility, and care. I also hold people accountable and gently challenge the stories that keep them from living fully.

  • You are not here to fix yourself. You are here to understand yourself.

When the inner world becomes visible, the outer world becomes changeable. If you are here, you are not broken. Something within you is asking to be heard.

A video from Florida has gone viral with a man with identical physical features to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein driving on I-95 in South Florida. The video showed a grey-haired man wearing a reversed white baseball cap and dark sunglasses driving around in a convertible. As people shout in the background, “Epstein is alive”. The video accumulated millions of views within hours, adding to the theories that Epstein was alive. The man revealed that he is not Jeffrey Epstein, but Peter Simel, aka Palm Beach Pete. Some commentators suggested that Epstein has undergone plastic surgery and a rebranding and has been hiding till now.

Who is Palm Beach Pete?

Palm Beach Pete was a former Division 1 tennis player and a gold medalist. He was also a retired commercial real estate executive who previously lived and worked in New York City. Palm Beach Pete said that he was at a Hockey game with his kids, and someone filmed him with a banner that said “Jeffrey Epstein rising from the grave”, which supposedly went viral. He claimed that he also briefly appeared in The Real Housewives of New York City, where Sonja Morgan greeted him with a kiss. During COVID, someone posted that clip, which also went viral before being taken down. He said that he was used to such situations, but the level of attention this time was overwhelming. He said that he has gotten some hate online, but people are mostly respectful when they encounter him in person.

Pete said that he went to a couple of parties where Epstein was also present. He said that Epstein seemed “creepy” sitting on a couch and “staying to himself”. Epstein was supposedly not that magnitude he became later on. Pete called Epstein “mysterious” and people had no idea how he “made money”. He launched social media accounts under the names “Not Epstein” and “Not.Epstein,”. “I could be the guy, but I’m not the guy", said Pete. “I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. He’s a very bad person, and he is dead- and I’m alive.”

Though a vacation to Florida is associated more with Orlando and the Walt Disney World Resort, you might be surprised at the hidden gems waiting to be discovered. About midway between Orlando and West Palm Beach, you'll find Indian River County, housing more than 100,000 acres of protected conservation land and 22.4 miles of beaches. If you're looking for a low-key outdoor destination for hiking and fishing, a visit to the Fort Drum Marsh Conservation Area in Indian River County might be right up your alley.

The area is the lesser-known neighbor of one of Florida's prettiest lakes to spot wildlife — Blue Cypress Lake. It includes a combination of wetland and upland communities and is a part of the southernmost reach of the St. Johns River's headwaters. There are three main areas for hiking, fishing, picnicking, and canoeing — Lake Cara, Horseshoe Lake, and Hog Island. You'll also see a variety of wildlife while here, from various birds to deer, turkey, and hogs. There is also seasonal hunting in the area, so make sure to check the official website for updates.

Fort Drum offers peace and quiet, but you won't be too far from amenities. Vero Beach, a beach town for a calm tropical escape, is only 30 minutes away. If you're coming from further away, both Orlando and West Palm Beach are about a two-hour drive, depending on traffic. The entrance is on the southern end of State Road 60, with a parking lot near Lake Cara. If you have a vehicle permit, you can head further in from Lake Cara and park at the Horseshoe Lake parking area.

Things to do in Fort Drum Marsh Conservation Area

Though Fellsmere, a city that's one of the world's top fishing spots, is less than 20 minutes away, you can also try your hand at catching something at Fort Drum. According to the St. Johns River Water Management District, the conservation area is one of the standout areas for fishing in the county. The marshland area is well-suited for kayakers or small boats, where you won't find crowds and can fish calm backwaters. As the area can be remote, make sure to get all the supplies you need before heading out. There are several bait and tackle shops near Blue Cypress Lake and Fellsmere, like Fellsmere Fishing HQ. Make sure to also check the weather, as previous visitors note that though Fort Drum is popular among anglers, strong winds can prevent you from fishing for longer.

If you're going hiking, the Red Blaze Trail is the longest route at 5.7 miles and starts from Horseshoe Lake and winds through the boardwalk at Hog Island. On Hog Island, there are a couple of different trails that interconnect with the Red Blaze Trail. You'll find the wooden boardwalk that will lead you through the trails of a blackwater hardwood swamp. You can go further to the Fort Drum Flatwoods, southwest of Hog Island, to complete the entire Red Blaze Trail. But according to Florida Hikes, the boardwalk hike in and around Hog Island is "the heart of the hike."

Since it debuted in January in Palm Beach after much anticipation, Tutto Mare — sister to a popular Mediterranean-concept restaurant in the Hamptons on Long Island — has been declared a hit by patrons who have thronged the new restaurant.

One of its key assets is its location: Next door to the new Glazer Hall performing-arts center in Royal Poinciana Plaza, it also boasts an ambiance-maker that’s surprisingly in short supply when it comes to Palm Beach restaurants: a sweeping water view.

Yes, Palm Beach is surrounded by water — the Intracoastal Waterway to the west, the Atlantic Ocean to the east — so one might expect a prevalence of waterfront restaurants.

But that’s not the case. There are a handful of such eateries associated with Palm Beach’s oceanfront resorts, plus a few others dotting the island, where residential real estate commands waterfront real estate.

Tutto Mare’s location beside the Intracoastal offers spectacular water views; sunsets, for one, with Highwaymen-painter-esque pink, orange and lavender hues.

Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!

Located in a space formerly occupied by a decades-ago hotspot called the Celebrity Room, the restaurant in the plaza, 340 Royal Poinciana Way, was conceived by husband-and-wife entrepreneurial Hamptons power couple Gianpaolo de Felice and Gabby Karan de Felice.

But beyond Tutto Mare (tuttoilgiorno.com/tutto-mare/; 561-855-0021), where else can you find waterfront restaurants in Palm Beach?

Here are some other waterfront eateries to try on the island:

Al Fresco at oceanfront Par 3 Golf Course

2345 S. Ocean Blvd., 561-273-4130; www.alfrescopb.com

With indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant at Par 3 Golf Course boasts impressive ocean and golf-course views from its perch on the second level of the course’s Key West-style clubhouse.

The menu has an Italian emphasis, with whole brick-oven pizzas (starting at $20), linguini with clams ($35), lasagna ($32), veal scaloppine and chicken Milanese.

The restaurant has the imprimatur of Palm Beach-based Alfresco Hospitality Group.

Just as golfers do after a round at Par 3, consider ordering a cocktail and some “golf balls,” which are meatballs ($20) in a spicy tomato sauce with herbed ricotta. Al Fresco is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Amalfi at oceanfront Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort

2842 S. Ocean Blvd, 561-934-4040

This new oceanfront restaurant, which debuted earlier this season, replaced Tideline’s former “coastal-cuisine” Brandon’s eatery.

Amalfi, named after a famous coastal town near Positano and Sorrento in Italy, offers ocean-view indoor/outdoor dining with Italian cuisine.

Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort’s owner, billionaire investor Jeff Greene, told the Daily News that the new restaurant at his hotel serves “an Amalfi-inspired lemon pasta ($26) I could eat every day, and the chicken Milanese is delicious.”

Amalfi restaurant, where other dinner dishes include a Prime-grade New York strip steak ($70) with French fries and salmoriglio, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Flagler Museum Café

Whitehall Way, 561-655-2833; www.flaglermuseum.org

Serving Gilded Age-influenced afternoon tea (which are ample enough to serve as a lunch) on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from late November through Easter, the café is located in the museum’s Flagler-Kenan Pavilion with floor-to-ceiling views of the Intracoastal Waterway and downtown West Palm Beach.

Museum admission, tax and gratuity is included in the cost of the mid-day repasts ($55.25 for museum members; $93 for non-members and $79 for non-member children ages 6-12) that include delicate tea sandwiches, scones and pastries, plus the Museum’s signature Whitehall Special Blend tea and other beverages.

Formerly known known as the Railcar 91 Tea Room in a nod toward Henry Flagler’s private railcar displayed in the glass-walled pavilion, the café has been known for more than a decade for its tea services.

Florie's and Seaway restaurants at the Four Seasons Resorts Palm Beach

2800 S. Ocean Blvd., 561-582-2800; www.fourseasons.com/palmbeach

One can certainly glimpse the ocean from upscale Florie’s, the first United States restaurant in collaboration with acclaimed Michelin-starred international chef Mauro Colagreco.

Along with its service and ambiance, the inventive Mediterranean cuisine at Florie’s recently received four out of five stars from Forbes Travel Guide.

But for a bird’s-eye view of the Atlantic Ocean, look no further than Seaway at the Four Seasons.

This more casual al fresco venue under a canopy of seagrape trees sits above the beach and offers a grand view of the ocean as your meal is grilled—perhaps, say, lobster tails or plump shrimp (market price).

Open for lunch and dinner, Seaway also offers such dishes as a seafood ceviche bowl ($39 at lunch), sandwiches (starting at around $27 at lunch) and other items.

The Circle and The Seafood Bar restaurants at The Breakers

1 S. County Road, 561-655-6611; www.thebreakers.com.

Perhaps only at The Breakers is one served breakfast in an historic and majestic ocean-view circular dining room boasting a 30-foot al-fresco ceiling with murals depicting Renaissance landscapes.

Daily breakfast offerings culminate each week with The Circle’s locally famous Sunday brunch — an elaborate affair sought out by travelers and locals alike.

The Sunday brunch ($195 adults; $85 children; pricing varies on holidays) includes Belgian waffles, eggs benedict, made-to-order omelets, imported cheeses and pâtés, sushi, raw-bar fare, pastas, fresh fish, carved meats, desserts galore and other items.

In another location at The Breakers, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking what is an up-close-and-personal ocean view, The Seafood Bar features what arguably is the best Atlantic view in town.

With an all-day menu, diners for years have raved about the jumbo-lump crab-cake appetizer ($45).

The seafood-heavy menu offers lobster tails, grilled fish, raw-bar items and more, but there’s fare for meat-lovers, too. A wood-grilled burger with fries is $36.

If you sit at the bar, the bartop doubles as an aquarium so you can watch small tropical fish swim under your drink.

Breeze Ocean Kitchen and Nobu at Eau Palm Beach Resort

100 S. Ocean Blvd., Manalapan, 561-533-6000; www.eaupalmbeach.com

The ocean and its breezes fuel the casual atmosphere at beach-overlooking Breeze Ocean Kitchen with its al fresco covered and open-air dining areas offering salads, fish sandwiches, tacos and more.

Oceanfront noshing and cocktailing is grand here, but serious foodies who appreciate fine water-view dining head to Nobu Manalapan at Eau.

It’s one of numerous locations of Nobu restaurants and hotels by famed chef-restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa and his business partners (among them, famed actor Robert DeNiro).

Nobu locations are sought after—and this one, after debuting in 2024, recently moved to a larger oceanfront space at Eau. Nobu classics are king here: among them. black cod with miso ($53) and yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño ($36).

Among other dishes: yakimono Mirai 10-ounce Wagyu steak for $115.

Eau Palm Beach Resort scored a Nobu location after Oracle software billionaire Larry Ellison bought the luxe 7-acre resort in August of 2024 for $277.4 million. He has incorporated the Nobu brand in some of the other resort properties he owns, including in Hawaii and California.

Sales Counselor Michelle Glodeck supports Devonshire's Priority List members as they engage in informational, personalized experiences

When it comes to planning for a future move to Devonshire, the Erickson Senior Living community at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., joining the Priority List early makes all the difference.

Recently, the Tribune sat down with Sales Counselor Michelle Glodeck to learn more about the benefits of Priority List membership, including an insider look at community life and many resources that make moving a breeze.

Q: What is one of the biggest advantages of Priority List membership?

A: Many people wonder, "Am I going to fit in here?" The only way to answer that question is to experience Devonshire firsthand. I always encourage members to come enjoy a meal in one of our restaurants or participate in an activity that interests them. These opportunities allow members to meet current residents and hear directly from them what life at Devonshire is really like.

It's important to note that experiencing community life doesn't mean you're committing to move right away. It simply gives you time to determine whether Devonshire is the right fit for you!

All of our Priority List members receive a "ticket to luxury senior living," which is like a passport with vouchers to activities throughout the community. If there's something you are interested in, simply call the sales team, and we'll take care of all the details. One of the most claimed vouchers is enjoying dinner with a current resident on campus. It's a fun evening out that provides a genuine glimpse into life at Devonshire.

Q: Devonshire's Live the Life program is exclusive to Priority List members. What makes this program so special?

A: Signing up for a Live the Life stay is another wonderful way to see what life is like at Devonshire. Priority List members stay overnight in a beautifully furnished guest suite, stocked with snacks and beverages. Guests can enjoy a complimentary meal at an on-site restaurant, work out in the fitness center, and participate in activities--just as current residents do.

Many people who live locally say, "I don't need to spend the night," but it's actually the best way to get the full picture of community life. Devonshire doesn't go to sleep when the sun goes down! You can have a cocktail in the lounge and then attend a show--and not have to worry about driving home afterward. It's a relaxing staycation that illustrates just how vibrant our community is.

Similar to the vouchers, I encourage members to sign up for a Live the Life stay early on. Experiencing life at Devonshire means you'll be more informed and confident when the time comes to make a decision!

Q: Priority List members can also schedule a home visit. What does that involve, and why is it helpful to schedule one early?

A: The hardest part of planning for a move is getting started. That's where our planning and moving consultant, Laurie Lovely, comes in. Her home visits focus on preparation, not pressure. It's an opportunity to discuss floor plans that fit your ideal retirement lifestyle and what belongings might accompany you to Devonshire. Meeting with Laurie early in the process will help you begin thinking about your goals and reduce stress later on.

She can also help you develop a plan for downsizing, packing, and transporting your belongings. Having a plan in place that breaks each step down into manageable tasks makes the entire move easier! Plus, Priority List members also have the advantage of working with preferred real estate agents, moving companies, and other vendors.

Q: What kind of events are available to Priority List members?

A: Priority List events are designed to give members a deeper understanding of our community and the maintenance-free lifestyle. For example, we recently hosted a Showcase of Homes exclusively for Priority List members. Current residents volunteered to open the doors to their homes, providing guests the chance to see what residences look like once they're lived in and personalized. It's an invaluable opportunity, especially early on in the decision-making process, to visualize how different floor plans may work for you.

Every event helps members learn more, meet new people, and see what makes Devonshire unique. They also help us get to know you better. Once I understand your preferences and style, I can notify you promptly when an ideal residence becomes available.

Q: If someone is ready to join the Priority List, what's their first step?

A: Anyone interested in joining Devonshire's Priority List should call the sales team. Joining requires a fully refundable $1,000 deposit, so it's risk-free. And if you choose to move in, that amount applies to your entrance fee,* collected as part of the residency process. We hope to hear from you soon!

To learn more about the benefits of joining the Priority List, request a free brochure today.

*Refer to the Residency Contract for full details and ancillary charges.
