At the Center for Neurological Intelligence®, individuals, couples, and leaders are supported in understanding what is happening within them so they can live, love, and lead with greater clarity, connection, and choice.
Many people who find their way here are thoughtful, capable, and motivated. From the outside, life may appear successful or functional. Yet internally, something feels unsettled-emotional loops repeat, stress feels constant, relationships feel strained, or a quiet sense of disconnection persists.
Using the framework of Neurological Intelligence®, this work helps make sense of how the nervous system formed meaning through lived experience-and how those patterns continue to shape thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships today.
Most of us were never taught how our nervous system works.
But no one taught us how early experiences shape emotional meaning, relational patterns, or our sense of self. No one explained why we react the way we do, why certain situations feel overwhelming, or why familiar conflicts repeat even when we "know better."
Neurological Intelligence® offers a grounded, compassionate approach to understanding your inner world-without labels, urgency, or pressure to become someone else.
As awareness grows, the nervous system begins to soften. Old protective strategies no longer need to run automatically. With practice, new responses become available-responses rooted in presence rather than reactivity.
This work is for people from many walks of life who are seeking greater clarity, stability, and connection.
Individuals often seek this work when they are navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or unresolved emotional patterns. Some feel overwhelmed or emotionally reactive. Others feel shut down, disconnected, or stuck in internal conflict.
Many are highly functional on the outside while quietly struggling within.
This work supports individuals who want to understand their nervous system, reduce internal tension, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Men, in particular, often find this work helpful when they want to move beyond internal protection patterns and connect in more authentic, grounded, and emotionally present ways-without sacrificing strength or integrity.
Couples often arrive feeling caught in repeating cycles of conflict, misunderstanding, or emotional distance. Conversations escalate quickly or go nowhere. Trust and safety feel fragile. Both partners may care deeply, yet feel unsure how to stop hurting one another.
Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, this work helps couples understand what is happening within each nervous system during moments of stress. When this becomes visible, blame softens, defensiveness decreases, and curiosity returns.
Couples learn how to communicate with respect, understand individual and shared needs, and rebuild safety in ways that strengthen both the relationship and the individuals within it.
Many leaders carry significant responsibility and invisible pressure. Decision-making never truly turns off. The nervous system remains engaged long after the workday ends.
This work supports executives and leaders who want to manage pressure more effectively, lead with clarity, and show up at home as partners or parents-not just as the boss.
Leadership here is not treated as a performance skill, but as an internal state shaped by the nervous system. When that system is supported, leadership becomes more sustainable, grounded, and fulfilling. You do not need to fit a category to belong here. If something inside you is seeking understanding, you are welcome.
My role is not to tell you who to be. It is to help you see what is already happening within you-with clarity, compassion, and practical guidance.
This work blends neuroscience, mindful awareness, and lived experience. Sessions are collaborative and paced with care, respecting the intelligence of your nervous system.
Change does not happen through willpower alone. It happens when awareness becomes embodied.
At the Center for Neurological Intelligence®, the focus goes beyond traditional coaching by helping clients understand the neurological patterns shaping their inner and outer lives.
Founded by author and Neurological Life Coach Glenn S. Cohen, this approach integrates neuroscience, emotional awareness, and lived experience to support meaningful and lasting change.
Through individual sessions, couples work, leadership support, workshops, and the Neurological Intelligence® book series, people are guided in recognizing patterns that once served a purpose but may now limit growth or create unnecessary suffering.
This is not about erasing the past. It is about understanding it-so it no longer runs the present.
Neurological Intelligence® is the ability to understand how your nervous system forms meaning and how that meaning shapes perception, emotion, behavior, and relationships-moment by moment.
Our nervous systems are shaped through experience. Over time, emotional learning becomes belief. Belief becomes protection. Protection becomes pattern. When these patterns remain unconscious, they tend to repeat. When they become visible, choice returns.
Neurological Intelligence® does not teach control. It teaches cooperation with your inner system. Through awareness, patterns can soften, integrate, and transform in ways that support greater clarity, balance, and freedom.
At its heart is a simple truth:
I did not set out to create a methodology. I set out to understand myself.
Like many people, my early life shaped emotional and relational patterns long before I had language for them. I searched for answers through psychology, spirituality, leadership training, and personal growth. Each offered insight, but none fully explained how the nervous system stores meaning-or how early experiences quietly shape our lives.
Over time, Neurological Intelligence® emerged not as a theory, but as a map.
My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I meet people with respect, humility, and care. I also hold people accountable and gently challenge the stories that keep them from living fully.
When the inner world becomes visible, the outer world becomes changeable. If you are here, you are not broken. Something within you is asking to be heard.
Personal guidance to support emotional clarity, healing, and growth.
A safe, supportive space to understand relationship patterns and rebuild connection.
Teachings and reflections to explore at your own pace.
Grounded guidance for those leading others while carrying significant responsibility.

NAPLES, Fla. (WINK)—Arthur Gilbert is the definition of the saying "age is just a number." His wife, Pamela, says he was always on the move.
"You would have thought he was 77. This man played tennis three times a week, and biked and hiked and you name it," Pamela Gilbert said.
He spent a lot of that time at Players Club and Spa in Naples. But his life went far beyond what friends saw him physically do.
"You could just tell that when Pam and Art were together, just the vibrant energy that they would bring for the love that they shared for each other," said Daniel Vollert, fitness manager at Players Club and Spa.
Vollert says seeing Art and Pam together was something you couldn't miss. Whether Pam was watching Art play from the sidelines or sitting right next to each other, you could see the love.
"You could for sure tell that he loved his wife and more than anything, too, just made sure that he always stayed in line to do the right things," Vollert said. "Just seeing her smile also brought a smile to his face as well."
"Whenever I spoke to Pam about her husband, Art, she showed nothing but compassion and care to where she always wanted the best for him too," Vollert said.
And he wanted what was best for her. Before the crash, Art dropped off Pam at the airport, not knowing it would be the last "see you later" they would have.
"It's a little devastating to know that just the good deed of wanting to just drop his wife off and then come back and then pick her up in a few days, that it could lead to something like this," Vollert said.
Though still in shock, Vollert says it's not just Art's energy they'll remember but the way he loved.

What the heck is that magenta restaurant where PDQ used to be in Naples?
It's all about the sauce at Naples' newest fast casual restaurant Saucy! by KFC. This new concept uses chicken tenders as a vessel, but puts the spotlight on its 12 original sauces.
Saucy may be a sister restaurant to KFC, but it's entirely different. The breading on Saucy's chicken tenders is the same as KFC's but beyond that, Saucy is looking to stand out on its own.
The new restaurant opens on March 24 at 5088 Airport-Pulling Road in Naples, making it Southwest Florida's first Saucy!
Every menu item revolves around chicken tenders and sauce, just in different forms. There's classic chicken tenders and fries combos, fried chicken sandwiches, chicken tender tacos, chicken tender salads, and even chicken tender rice bowls.
Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more! But what's the best way to try Saucy's 12 different sauces? General Manager Andrew Grosshans encourages the four-sauce flight. The 12 standard sauces are Saucy's Sauce, Chimichurri Ranch, Saucy Ranch, Smokey Bacon Ranch, Salsa Ranchero, Caesar, Jalapeno Pesto Ranch, Thai Sweet 'n Spicy, Korean Sweet Heat, Sweet 'n Spicy BBQ, Creole Honey Mustard, and Sweet Teriyaki.
You aren't limited to just 12 flavors though. Grosshans says his favorite flavors have come from mixing sauces, like pairing Saucy's Sauce with Sweet Teriyki.
There's quite a few fast casual restaurants that revolve around chicken, from Zaxby's to Raising Canes, to Wingstop. But Grosshans says Saucy! stands apart for a few reasons: friendly and helpful staff, fresh and quality chicken and innovative sauces with global flavors.
As part of its promise to provide the freshest product, Saucy! doesn't serve chicken that's been held for more than 15 minutes. Your Saucy! chicken should be consistently hot, fresh and crispy.
"The expectation is that whenever you come to Saucy!, you are always going to get fresh chicken that feels amde to order," Grosshans said. "It's not going to be chicken that's been sitting around for 30 to 45 minutes."
If you're having trouble ordering, Grosshans says the staff is trained to assist you by suggesting menu items and flavors based on your personal palate.
Saucy! took over the building PDQ occupied at Carillon Place on Airport-Pulling Road for five years before closing last fall. The restaurant space was given a major facelift inside and out, which Grosshans says really adds to the vibe.
"Our whole philosophy was to take a unique, different approach," Grosshans said. "Let's start with the sauce and see how that can be improved with the chicken tendie. With the same approach, we thought that our store needed to reflect something that stood out and looked different and challenged conventions."
Saucy's decor heavily incorporates magenta, which is a symbolic sister color to KFC's classic red. Its lettering is bouncy and playful, which Grosshans says is to remind patrons to play with their food.
Saucy! is opening at 5088 Airport-Pulling Road in Naples on March 24.

NAPLES, FL - The Litty Kitty, a new neighborhood bar concept from Jamy Donnelly and partners Sandra Kissel and Marc During, is targeting a May 1 opening at 5023 Tamiami Trl E, Naples, FL 34113. Donnelly told Business Debut the concept is designed as a relaxed, community-focused bar with retro entertainment, simple bar food, and a strong welcome for hospitality workers and first responders.
The team describes the concept as an “upscale dive,” pairing a playful cat-themed atmosphere with approachable drinks, games, and live music.
Guests can expect a colorful bar environment filled with neon lighting, cat-themed décor, and retro arcade games including classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Frogger, and Gauntlet. The space will also feature dart machines, gambling machines, and a small outdoor courtyard with a stage for live music.
The bar will seat about 15 guests at the bar with additional indoor and outdoor seating, totaling roughly 50 guests when full. The concept is intentionally designed to feel small and intimate, creating a casual neighborhood hangout.
Donnelly said the team wants the space to be a welcoming spot for people finishing long workdays. “We want first responders, hospitality workers, plumbers, electricians, and the people who work for a living to have a place they can come relax,” Donnelly told Business Debut.
The Litty Kitty will focus on straightforward bar food with a few standout items. The menu is expected to include wings, hot dogs, smash burgers with house “kitty sauce,” and pizza.
The wings will feature both sauces and dry rubs, including Cajun, barbecue, lemon pepper, buffalo, teriyaki, and barbecue sauce options. Guests will also find customizable hot dogs, including Skyline chili-style and Chicago-style builds.
The bar program will include classic drinks along with a signature cocktail called the “Litty Kitty,” which the team plans to develop ahead of opening.
A major part of the concept is supporting hospitality workers. The bar will offer a 10 percent discount for anyone working in the hospitality industry, available every day and at all hours.
The team is targeting a May 1 opening as construction continues on the space. The partners all bring backgrounds in entertainment and hospitality and said the project marks their first independent restaurant venture.
Planned hours are 11 a.m.-2 a.m., seven days a week.
A Website and Social Media are to be announced.

MaxLiving Chiropractic enhances its prenatal chiropractic care in Naples, FL to support expectant mothers navigating the physical demands of pregnancy. The clinic addresses spinal and pelvic misalignments that arise from rapid body changes, offering gentle adjustments consistent with its commitment to family wellness in the Naples community.
Pregnancy often introduces stress on the spine and pelvis, which can contribute to various discomforts. The prenatal chiropractic care at the clinic focuses on these areas through careful, non-invasive methods. This service forms part of the broader approach to natural health that defines the practice.
Reported benefits of prenatal chiropractic care, based on studies and clinical observations, may include reduced labor and delivery time through better pelvic alignment. Improved posture emerges as the body accommodates increasing weight and shifting center of gravity. Sciatica relief addresses nerve-related discomfort common in later stages, with research indicating improvement in symptoms for a majority of patients.
Decreased nausea provides comfort during early pregnancy, though evidence is primarily anecdotal and linked to nervous system function. Better sleep results from reduced physical tension, promoted by joint and muscle relief. Prevention of breech presentations supports optimal fetal positioning, with techniques like the Webster method showing potential in reducing such occurrences, according to studies. These outcomes are not guaranteed and vary by individual, with ongoing research needed to confirm broader efficacy.
Patients seeking a Prenatal Chiropractor in Naples, FL, find the clinic’s methods centered on safety and individual needs. The adjustments remain gentle throughout all trimesters, aligning with the philosophy of honoring the body’s natural processes.
Dr. Maryella Loman leads much of the family and women’s health focus at the clinic. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1989. Initially pursuing orthopedic surgery, Dr. Loman experienced a car accident that introduced her to chiropractic care. The relief and underlying philosophy prompted her career shift. With more than 29 years as a board eligible Chiropractic Sports Physician, she brings clinical insight to prenatal applications. Together with Dr. Greg Loman, she launched MaxLiving Chiropractic – Naples in January 2018, building on their collective service to Naples families since 1992.
Dr. Greg Loman complements the team with his background from Life University in 1990. He developed one of the largest chiropractic clinics of its era and contributed as a New York Times best-selling author of One Minute Wellness. His experience includes hosting health programs and achieving success in professional racing while advocating for chiropractic principles. Dr. Greg Loman co-founded the guiding principles of MaxLiving and the 5 Essentials framework, which underpins the clinic’s approach to comprehensive wellness.
The 5 Essentials framework integrates core chiropractic adjustments with nutrition, mindset, oxygen and exercise, and toxin minimization. In the prenatal context, this structure supports maternal preparation by reducing interferences to natural processes. Expectant mothers receive care that considers interconnected health aspects during pregnancy.
Care at the clinic begins with a thorough review of health history to identify specific needs and goals. Data collection follows, which may involve assessments to understand root factors. Results are then analyzed collaboratively, leading to personalized strategies. Ongoing support and education empower patients to participate in their wellness.
“Prenatal chiropractic care addresses the unique stresses placed on the spine and pelvis during pregnancy through gentle adjustments that help maintain alignment,” said Dr. Maryella Loman, Doctor of Chiropractic at MaxLiving Chiropractic – Naples.
The clinic’s model emphasizes education, helping families understand how spinal health influences function during pregnancy. This knowledge supports informed decisions and promotes sustained well-being. The approach focuses on function and preparation through detailed assessments and tailored support.
“Supporting expectant mothers with principled chiropractic methods integrates care into the natural progression of pregnancy, drawing from clinical experience in family wellness,” said Dr. Maryella Loman, Doctor of Chiropractic at MaxLiving Chiropractic – Naples.
MaxLiving Chiropractic – Naples maintains a dedication to principled chiropractic across life stages, including prenatal periods. The practice views health as originating from within, with adjustments serving to remove barriers. This perspective guides patient relationships since the clinic’s establishment.
The integration of prenatal chiropractic care reflects the clinic’s role in family health journeys. The focus remains on function rather than isolated interventions, with combined clinical experience exceeding 60 years providing depth to consultations.
Throughout its history, the clinic has emphasized community connections alongside clinical work. This foundation strengthens the environment for prenatal patients within a framework of consistent principles. The team applies thorough processes to pregnancy-related concerns as to other family health needs.
MaxLiving Chiropractic – Naples is a chiropractic clinic dedicated to principled care and the 5 Essentials framework. The practice empowers families to pursue wellness by addressing root causes and supporting natural processes through spinal corrective care, nutritional guidance, and educational resources.
